Youth Summer Camps & Classes

In Northwest Maritime youth summer camps, kids can experience maritime life in many ways—from dinghy sailboats and rowboats to marine life. We have 7 weeks of summer day camps for kids ages 5 to 17. Our Lil Scuppers and Jr. programs are tailored to younger campers who just want to mess about in boats, while older kids can hone their on-the-water skills in our Youth Learn to Sail camps!

Youth Scholarships

NWMC is proud to offer scholarships to those facing financial barriers, youth service organizations, schools and underserved youth, so everyone can have the opportunity to learn with us, regardless of financial circumstances.

Scholarships are supported in part by the generous support of Wilder Auto. To apply for a scholarship for youth or adult programs, please complete our scholarship application form during the registration process.

If you are in a position to pay more than the suggested price for a youth program, additional funds will contribute directly to making youth programs more widely accessible. Please contact our registrar directly at registrar@nwmaritime.org or 360.385.3628 x1.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellations must be received in writing (email to registrar@nwmaritime.org).

• Cancellations 14 days or more prior to the first day of the program will be refunded the program cost less an administrative fee of $25 per program.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the first day of the program will not be refunded.
• Please ask about options to reschedule.
• If NWM cancels a program, 100% of fees will be refunded or a reschedule option may be arranged.
